RIYBA is not affiliated with any AAU organizations but supports player development opportunities for Rhode Island youth basketball players.  AAU basketball does not interfere with the RIYBA tournament season. Generally, AAU programs are available pre-season or post-season.

 

The better AAU basketball programs provide players with an additional opportunity to practice and improve their basketball skills via good skills and drills coaching and games against good competition.

 

There are several Rhode Island AAU basketball organizations available with varying costs and opportunity. Research and compare organizations for the opportunity that suits your goals best.
